L’association des Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise est depuis le 13 Mai 1974 propriétaire de la Maison des Anciens Combattants du 20 rue Legendre 75017 Paris.

Initialement, les anciens combattants polonais avaient créé en 1948 une société civile immobilière pour pouvoir acheter ce bien immobilier. En effet, la loi française de l’époque ne permettait pas à une association étrangère d’acquérir un bien immobilier. C’est ainsi que le 16 Février 1948 fut acheté l’immeuble du 20 rue Legendre à Paris.

Au début des années 1970, la loi a changé, permettant ainsi aux associations étrangères de posséder un bien immobilier.

C’est dans ce contexte que l’association des Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise fut créée le 17 Octobre 1973. La transformation de la société civile immobilière propriétaire de la Maison en association des Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise a ainsi eu lieu le 13 Mai 1974 par acte notarié.

Who wants to sell the Veteran’s house?

The association of Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise has owned the Maison des Anciens Combattants (House of Polish Veterans) at 20 rue Legendre 75017 Paris since 13 May 1974.

Initially, the Polish veterans had created in 1948 a real estate company to be able to buy this real estate. Indeed as French law at the time did not allow a foreign association to acquire real estate. Thus, on February 16, 1948, the building at 20 rue Legendre in Paris was purchased.

In the early 1970s, the law changed, allowing foreign associations to own property.

In this context the association of Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise (Friendship Association of Polish-French Families) was created on October 17, 1973. The transformation of the real estate civil society owner of the House into association of Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise was thus place on May 13, 1974 by notarial act.
