Od 13 maja 1974 roku Stowarzyszenie Przyjaźni Rodzin Polsko-Francuskich jest właścicielem Domu Kombatanta 20 rue Legendre 75017 Paris.
Ze względu na niemożliwość nabywania nieruchomości na terenie Francji przez podmioty cudzoziemskie, założono fikcyjne przedsiębiorstwo nieruchomości – SCIMP (Société Civile Immobilière Maison de la Polonia), zarządzane przez pięciu administratorów ”powierników”. Organ powierników został powołany na potrzeby SPK, co jest uwiecznione w dokumentach notarialnych.
W taki sposób 16 lutego 1948 roku zakupiono budynek przy 20 rue Legendre à Paris.
W latach 70-tych prawo francuskie uległo zmianie pozwalając cudzoziemcom na zakup nieruchomości.
Z tego powodu 17 października 1973 założone zostało Stowarzyszenie Przyjaźni Rodzin Polsko-Francuskich.
13 maja 1974 roku została dokonana transformacja SCIMP dotychczasowego właściciela Domu, w Stowarzyszenie Przyjaźni Rodzin Polsko-Francuskich .

The association of Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise has owned the Maison des Anciens Combattants (House of Polish Veterans) at 20 rue Legendre 75017 Paris since 13 May 1974.
Initially, the Polish veterans had created in 1948 a real estate company to be able to buy this real estate. Indeed as French law at the time did not allow a foreign association to acquire real estate. Thus, on February 16, 1948, the building at 20 rue Legendre in Paris was purchased.
In the early 1970s, the law changed, allowing foreign associations to own property.
In this context the association of Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise (Friendship Association of Polish-French Families) was created on October 17, 1973. The transformation of the real estate civil society owner of the House into association of Foyers d’Amitié Franco Polonaise was thus place on May 13, 1974 by notarial act.
